Use of Lien Law by Consulting Engineers

September 24, 2014

Click here to take a quick survey to determine the use of the South Carolina’s lien law pertaining to design professionals. A lien taken out by an architect has been appealed to the South Carolina Supreme Court. Findings of lower courts were in favor of the architect, but the case is now before the Supreme Court. If the lien law is a means of receiving your due, ACEC-SC may want to consider strengthening the law. This survey will give me a sense of lien law’s use and importance. Thank you for answering these 7 short questions.
