I apologize for not sending a Friday News last week. The South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers and I spent last Friday preparing for and feeding those taking the Professional Engineers Exam. We feed a lot of pizza to 347 PE examinees.
ACEC-SC was a sponsor at Senator Larry Grooms, Chairman of the Transportation Committee, fundraiser on April 10, 2019. Melvin Williams (S&ME), David Beaty (HDR), David Kinard (HDR), Gary Brewer (HDR), and I all attended. Grooms spoke of the important work he did to bring folks together to pass the roads bill a couple of years ago and plans he has for the future.
