ACEC-SC made significant gains this year, including making budget on member dues, excellent participation in the joint meeting with SCDOT, receiving 17 Engineering Excellence Award entries, and graduating 19 Future Leaders Program participants.
ACEC-SC’s committees were also successful with positive outcomes working with the Office of the State Engineer, the SC Department of Health & Environmental Control, and our work with political subdivisions.
ACEC-SC has arranged for a special presentation to kick off the Planning Retreat. Leo Hoch, ACEC Executive Director of Business Relations and
Membership, is coming from headquarters to lead a membership discussion. Membership is one of the 2014-2015 goals, and Leo is coming to get the mission underway. Prior to his presentation, he and ACEC-SC officers are making calls on prospective ACEC-SC members prior to the retreat.
Vice Chair Joe Greenburg is leading the planning sessions as next year’s direction for ACEC-SC is being established.
You can help build on this year’s successes by participating in the 2014 Retreat at the Hyatt Regency Greenville, March 21-23.
