ACEC-SC’s by-annual leadership program is open for enrollment with the first session set for August 27 at the Palmetto Club in Columbia.
This first session features author, Ken Fanning, whose program is on “How to Blaze Your Career Path Within Your Organization”. This session is not restricted to Future Leaders but open to all ACEC-SC members. ACEC-SC members who are not in the Future Leaders Program may attend for $120, and the program yields 2 PDHs.
The Future Leaders Program is designated for the engineering industry’s up-and-coming professionals. Participants must be employed by a member firm or be the owner/principal of a member firm. Future leaders may be engineers, business development professionals, or marketing professionals.
The program has six sessions with networking time built into the session. Professional Development Hours are offered for the sessions and accumulate to 12 PDHs for the entire program. The cost per participant is $600.
Dates for the Future Leaders Program are Aug. 27, Sept. 15, Oct. 13, Nov. 19, Dec. 10, Jan. 19 (Legislative Reception) and Feb. 2 (Engineering Excellence Gala). Future Leaders completing the program are recognized at the Engineering Excellence Awards Gala at the Columbia Museum of Art.
