Last week ended the 12th week SCDHEC has been monitoring COVID-19 cases in SC, and the nation is closing in on 100,000 deaths. As of yesterday, the CDC reported 1,637,456 cases and 97,669 deaths, with South Carolina reporting 10,178m cases and 440 deaths. We have seen a decline in the number of weekly cases, with the week of May 16, 2020, reporting 1,216 new cases and the week of May 25, 2020 reporting 839 cases. This is good news as we saw several of our firms return to their offices this week.
